POPUP COVID-19 VACCINATION SITE SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2021

Health Department Hosts Site at New Direction Christian Church, 6120 Winchester Road

SHELBY COUNTY, TN –The Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) in partnership with New Direction Christian Church will host a popup COVID-19 vaccination site at the Church at 6120 Winchester Road this Sunday, November 21, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. No appointment is required.

WHAT:           COVID-19 Vaccinations (Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson) WHERE:        6120 Winchester Rd, Memphis, TN 38115 WHEN:         Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The Health Department will offer first, second and third or “booster” doses of Pfizer-Biotech COVID-19 vaccine, first and second and “booster” doses of Moderna vaccine, and single doses of Johnson and Johnson vaccine at the event. A follow-up event is planned for Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for second doses for those who received first doses at this weekend’s event.

Children aged 5 to 11 may be vaccinated at the event on a walk-through basis. Parent or guardian must accompany the child, and proof of age is required (birth certificate or vaccination record.) Children younger than 18 are not currently eligible to receive COVID-19 booster doses.

Adults and children aged 12 and older will be vaccinated on a drive-thru basis. Those receiving second or “booster” doses should bring their CDC vaccination card.
