Media release: Free Help Enrolling in Health Coverage at the Library

Free Help Enrolling in Health Coverage

SAINT PAUL, MN: Saint Paul Public Library is partnering with Health Access MN to offer enrollment assistance for health coverage at five public library locations. Anyone wishing to enroll in health insurance, shop for a new plan, or simply renew  their MNsure coverage can call 651-645-0215 to make an appointment to consult with a  MNsure navigator.

MNsure is not only a marketplace for buying private insurance plans, but also the application tool for enrolling in low-cost insurance like MinnesotaCare and Medical Assistance.  Health Access MN requests registrants to bring the following:

·         Social security number for everyone applying for coverage
·         Dates of birth of everyone in your household
·         Information about all sources of income
·         If possible, recent paystubs, tax return, and W-2
·         Information about insurance offered by an employer
·         For non-citizens, Green Card or other immigration documents
