Festival Grants from the Minnesota Humanities Center
Through the State of Minnesota 2023-2025 biennial legislation Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (Legacy), the Minnesota Humanities Center (MHC) will administer $450,000 in grants to individuals and/or organizations in Minnesota working to create, celebrate, and teach the art, culture, and heritage of diverse Minnesota communities.
MHC is now accepting applications on a rolling basis to individuals and organizations for the Community Identity & Heritage - Festival Grants. This program is specifically for community events, music and jazz festivals, cultural festivals for art installations, and other performances and activities that support festivals and events.
Applicants may request up to $50,000. Funding is available through June 30, 2025, or all funds have been spent, whichever occurs first.

- Tuesday, October 22, 2024 – 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, October 25, 2024 – 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 29, 2024 – 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
All information sessions will be conducted via Zoom.
