Seed Squad events with Natural Resources
Our Natural Resources team hosts a variety of activities for all ages to get you outside and exploring nature in your local parks. Seed Squad (Sept 7, 17, 26) needs volunteers to harvest native seed from some of our highest quality natural areas. The collected seed will later be sown and/or propagated and planted to increase plant diversity for wildlife and pollinators. Best suited for families with children ages 8+.
Looking for more ways to volunteer? We offer ongoing and private group volunteer opportunities with our environmental team. You can help maintain a garden bed, remove invasive plant species, mulch trees, pick up trash and more. Great for individuals, sports teams, coworkers and more!
