Program Updates |
CollegeBound Boost, the new Guaranteed Income Project, has filled all the spots! We are excited to learn about how families are impacted by the new income.
On June 10, in partnership with Prepare + Prosper, CollegeBound hosted the first in-person Money Action Day! We had around 100 families (over 300 people) present. Families who attended received a $50 Financial Health Bonus for their child's account. Families engaged with our amazing resource fair, financial workshops, financial planners and kids had fun with crafts, story time, games, and dancing!
CollegeBound Saint Paul and Bremer Bank hosted the first open house for CollegeBound families on June 24th! The Bremer Bank branch on Snelling Ave opened on a Saturday just for CollegeBound families to come and make deposits in their accounts. We had over 60 families attend and deposit over $4000 in just a few hours! Families who made deposits received an additional $50 bonus from the City of Saint Paul.

Enrollment & Engagement Tips |
Did you know families can get a $50 Financial Health Bonus every year for their child's account? Families who participate in activities that promote their financial health can claim the bonus. If your organization offers any related services, please let families know they may be eligible for a $50 bonus!
Examples of eligible programs include:
- Financial Education
- Financial Counseling or Coaching;
- Credit Counseling or Credit-Building Products
- Matched Savings Programs
- Opening a new bank account (checking or savings)
- Access Free-Tax Prep Services (VITA or Community-based tax prep)
- Workforce development programs or career counseling services
- Homeownership or business ownership workshops or trainings
- Accessed small business financing, or down payment assistance, i.e., loans or grants
