Man found dead Sunday morning identified, death ruled homicide
The man whose body was discovered Sunday morning in the 1100 block of Western Avenue has been identified as Dominic Neely, 22 of Saint Paul. His death has been ruled a homicide by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner.
Residents working near their garage discovered Neely's body at about 11:30 a.m. He was dressed in clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. Investigators continue to work to piece together exactly what may have happened in the moments leading up to Neely's death and how his body came to be near the garage.
Police are not elaborating on what caused his death at this time. Any updates on that information will be made in the coming days.
No further updates on this death are expected today.
