The curfew has been extended through Tuesday, June 2, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. The curfew is imposed in all Saint Paul public places.

During curfew, no travel is allowed in any public street or place.

Exemptions include all law enforcement, fire and medical personnel, members of the news media, and other personnel authorized by the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota Department of Public Safety, Minnesota State Patrol, or Minnesota National Guard. Other exemptions include individuals traveling directly to and from work, seeking emergency care, fleeing danger, or experiencing homelessness.

Violators of this Executive Order will be charged with a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine not to exceed $1,000 or imprisonment for not more than 90 days.

No Planned Highway Closures Tonight

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) announced there are no planned highway closures in the metro area this evening. MnDOT reminds motorists closures may be implemented in coordination with the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. 


Other Impacts

  • All bus, light rail and Northstar service remains suspended through the end of Monday, June 1. An update will be provided no later than 8 p.m. on Monday, June 1. Read more at metrotransit.org/transit-service-suspended-through-june-1.
  • Metro Mobility is continuing to operate where it is safe to do so throughout the service area. If you have questions, contact the Metro Mobility Service Center at 651-602-1111 or metromobility@metc.state.mn.us.
  • Access to be food continues to be a major concern for families during this emergency situation. Many free meal and food assistance programs are available in Ramsey County. Use the County’s interactive map to find programs near you, including food shelves, community gardens, farmers markets, grocery stores and delivery services.
