Entrepreneur Spotlight: Mondo Davison, The Black Tech Guy
Mondo Davison, most notably known as ‘The Black Tech Guy’, is on a mission to inspire a generation of black males to pursue a life in tech.
He believes branding The Black Tech Guy as a trailblazing figure in the tech space will lead to a more compelling ‘Plan A’ career than a rapper or athlete. As an educator turned entrepreneur, Mondo founded (what he calls) a ‘Startup Shop’ in Saint Paul’s growing tech and innovation scene, that creates tech startups led by people of color and accelerates them from idea-to-impact.
Located in the heart of downtown Saint Paul, his team is currently on track to change education, police and community relations, and financial technology - and that’s just the beginning.
Saint Paul born and bred, Mondo was recognized as Most Likely to Succeed in 2017 and one of the hardest working entrepreneurs by Minnesota Business Magazine.
