4th of July The 4th of July is upon us! Planning to spend Independence Day in Saint Paul? Here are some helpful reminders and places to celebrate.  Events 8am-6pm: 72nd 4th in the Park @ Langford Park Recreation Center 3pm: Como Pops @ Como Lakeside Pavilion 6pm: Daddy Squeeze “Hankerin' for Fat” @ Como Lakeside Pavilion Reminders All recreation centers are closed on Thursday, July 4, with the exception of Langford Park. As you celebrate, please remember that we all have a responsibility to ensure the safety of those around us as we enjoy our public spaces. While we welcome all to use our parks and recreation center properties to celebrate, the use of fireworks is not permitted. With the exception of authorized picnic areas, the consumption of alcohol is prohibited at parks and recreation center properties. We wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July!

Indoor Fitness Classes We love to encourage people to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors, but sometimes an air-conditioned, indoor fitness class is just what you need on a hot summer day! From martial arts to Zumba, we have tons of classes to choose from. Like to workout solo? Check out our low-cost fitness center memberships. Rather soak up the sun? Fitness in the Parks has you covered!

NOTICE: Como Pool will be closed July 6-7 for an event. The parking lot will be closed on July 5. Please take the free shuttle bus from the fairgrounds, which operates from 8am-8pm.​
