Music in Mears Park

Music in the Parks

The 2019 Music in the Parks season officially kicks off on Thursday, May 16 at Como Lakeside Pavilion's Spring Cafe. Music in the Parks events at Mears Park will begin May 21 and events at the redesigned, soon-to-reopen Rice Park will begin June 10. Start planning your summer with the 2019 Music in the Parks Schedule! All events are free except where a $ is noted. All are welcome. 

Movies in the Parks at Battle Creek

Movies in the Parks

Grab a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a movie under the stars! Movies in the Parks events start Thursday, June 13 and are free and open to all. Most movies have family-friendly activities before the show. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. All movies are weather dependent and subject to change without notice.

Como Lakeside Pavilion

Spring Cafe Now Open

The music hasn't started just yet, but you can still stop by Spring Cafe at Como Lakeside Pavilion for great food and a beautiful view! Spring Cafe is open 10am-9pm daily starting Wednesday, May 1. Lakeside Treats is now open on weekends from 9am-4pm, weather permitting, with longer hours starting Memorial Day weekend.

Roaming Recreation  

Roaming Recreation brings outdoor summer fun to your neighborhood! Roaming Rec is a free youth program offering athletic programs, arts and crafts, and other organized activities led by Saint Paul's fun and energetic Recreation in Motion team. Roaming Recreation runs from June 17-August 15 at 14 sites around the city offering afternoon and evening sessions. Snacks will be served at each session. Phalen Family Fishing Nights

The Tips Outdoors Foundation and Saint Paul Parks & Recreation are teaming up again this summer for Family Fishing Nights at Lake Phalen! Tips Outdoors professional staff and mentors will be on hand the 1st Wednesday of each month starting in May and running through September. Fishing will start at 6:00 pm and go until sunset.

This event is free, family friendly, and all are welcome. No previous fishing experience is required. All equipment will be provided.
