Skaters on the WinterSkate rink.

Skating Lessons

Learn how to skate and get in on one of Minnesota's favorite winter past times! Register for recreation center skating lessons or stop by the WinterSkate rink on select Saturdays at noon for a free lesson.

Ice Rink Update

Due to predicted warm temperatures, all non-refrigerated rinks are closed until further notice in order to preserve the ice that has already been established.

Refrigerated rinks will continue to be monitored and maintained and will remain open as conditions allow.

Please do not skate on closed rinks. Our staff and dedicated volunteers are working hard to provide safe, skateable rinks as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience. Visit stpaul.gov/icerinks for updates.

Community Holiday Parties

Santa appearances, shared suppers, tree lighting ceremonies, reindeer games, and everything in between! Join us at one of our many winter parties for some holiday cheer. All events are FREE unless otherwise noted.
