Spring Sports

Register January 1 and SAVE 25% on spring sports

Spring youth sports registration opens January 1 for volleyball, futsal and floor hockey. The earlier you register, the more you save! Register January 1-5 and receive 10%-25% off registration fees.

January 1 = 25% off
January 2 = 20% off
January 3 - 5 = 10% off

Ice Rinks

Ice Rinks

Temperatures have dropped and conditions are good for outdoor skating. See our ice rink page for warming room hours or to find a skating rink, hockey rink or oval rink near you. Please note all warming rooms will be closed on January 1. Warming rooms may be closed or offer special hours on December 31 and January 2.

Owl

Owl Moon Snowshoe Hike

Hike by the light of the full moon to listen for the calls of our nocturnal neighbors, the owls! The Owl Moon on January 21 coincides with the start of the nesting season for Great Horned Owls and other owl species. Learn about owls around a warm fire, then head out to hike along the Mississippi River. Snowshoes provided. Cost is $5. Swimming Lessons

Winter Swimming Lessons

Winter is a great time learn to swim or improve on your swimming skills. These winter lessons will have you ready to make splash when summer comes! Winter lessons begin next week at Great River Water Park. Register online or learn more about our lesson options.

New Year's

Recreation Center Holiday Hours

All recreation centers will be closed on January 1. On December 31, January 2 and January 16, centers may offer special hours, skating-only hours, or be closed. See our Holiday and Special Hours page for more information.

 

Ski Lessons

Ski & Snowboard Lessons

Ski and snowboard lessons will begin next week, weather permitting. Space is still available for downhill, cross country, and snowboard lessons. Visit the Como Park Ski Center website for more information.
