Lowertown Blues Fest

Lowertown Blues & Funk Fest

Grab your lawn chairs and head to Lowertown for two days of free blues and funk performances in beautiful Mears Park. Food, ice cream, beer, soda, and water will be sold through onsite vendors. Visit the Lowertown Blues & Funk Fest website for more information.

Canoe Camp

Canoe, Kayak and Outdoor Adventures Camp

Spend the week learning boating safety and on-water canoeing and kayaking techniques! Other activities include archery, fishing, a climbing wall, nature scavenger hunts, cooking, leather crafting and swimming at Lake Phalen. For more information, call Phalen Recreation Center at 651-793-6600.

Events at Watergate Marina

Come to Watergate Marina tomorrow for a day of fun along the mighty Mississippi. From 12pm to 1:30pm, Fort Snelling's lead naturalist will be onsite to give an overview of the natural and historic significance of Pike Island. Enjoy live music by the water from 2pm-5pm, followed by a cash bar and catered barbecue until 11pm. For more information, call 651-695-3780.

Rice Street Festival

Rice Street Festival Family Fun Day

After the parade, come to Rice Recreation Center for Family Fun Day! Activities include a climbing wall, pony rides, jump castle, carnival games and more! For more information, visit the Rice Street Festival website or call Rice Recreation Center at 651-558-2392.

Fitness in the Parks

Fitness in the Parks

There are just over two months of Fitness in the Parks classes left! Fitness in the Parks is a free outdoor exercise program that brings a variety of fitness activities to many of Saint Paul’s beautiful parks. There is no registration required and classes are open to all ages and fitness levels.  See the schedule for a list of upcoming classes.
