Right Track Application Updates!

Thank you for submitting an application to Right Track. Your application was reviewed by our staff and you are eligible for Right Track.  Please see below and attached for next steps:

 

 

  1. March 10 – Attend the Youth Jobs Expo at Oxford Community Center (270 Lexington Pkwy North).

Attend the Youth Jobs Expo (anytime between 2:30pm – 6pm) to meet employers and learn about jobs.  Bring five copies of your resume and dress professionally! 

 

  1. March 10 – March 20 – Select your top three jobs in the online job bank.

Log into your Right Track account at righttrack.stpaul.gov and select your top three jobs in the online job bank.  You must select and rank your top three jobs no later than March 20.

 

  1. March 21 – April 14 - Interview for jobs.

Your name and contact info will be sent to your top three job choices.  This is how employers will contact you for an interview.  Check your email and voicemail daily, and respond to any requests for interviews within 24 hours.  If contacted by a worksite for an interview, be sure to arrive a few minutes early and be prepared.  Dress professionally and bring a copy of your resume.

 

  1. May 2 – Find out if you got a job!

Right Track office staff (not individual employers/organizations) will notify you during the week of May 2 if you’ve been awarded a YJ01 job.  Job match announcements will be sent in the mail and via email.  You will be required to complete a new employee payroll packet and provide two forms of ID before you begin working.   More info about payroll packets will be available in April-May.

 

 

Please remember that attending the Youth Jobs Expo and/or submitting your top three jobs does not guarantee that you will be hired for a summer job.  Unfortunately we have more applications than we have available jobs.  It is important for you to attend the Youth Jobs Expo, select up to three jobs in the online job bank and do well at your interview(s).
