Poetry in All Places

SAINT PAUL – On Thursday, June 4, from 6-8 p.m., Saint Paul Public Library presents two non-traditional poetry projects at Rondo Library, 461 Dale St N, Saint Paul, 55103.

Diego Vázquez and Marcie Rendon will discuss the Women’s Writing Program they lead, which brings poetry and writing skills to inmates at the Ramsey County Correctional Facility. Poets from the project will read some of their works.

The City of St. Paul’s Sidewalk Poetry Project originator, Marcus Young, discusses his efforts to bring poetry to the sidewalks around the city.
