Are the swimming quarries open?

Yes they are!

Quarry Park is open every day of the year from 8 am to one-half hour after sunset. The Swimming Quarries are available whenever the park is open. There is No Lifeguard On Duty.

It’s approximately ½ mile to Swim Quarry #2 where you’ll find the high rock formations for jumping. The quarry is 116 feet deep.

It’s approximately 1/3 mile to Swim Quarry #11 where you’ll find a sandy beach area. This quarry is 40 feet deep. Check out the new steps our great maintenance staff finished this week!

Picnic Areas There are several picnic areas with tables and grills throughout the park. There is a picnic shelter by the parking lot, a picnic shelter by Swim Quarry #2, and a picnic shelter by Swim Quarry #11. They are all first-come, first-serve shelters.

Parking Fee Just a reminder the daily parking permit fee will increase to $10 for the summer. The $10.00 fee will go into effect on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. The park is free when you ride your bike or walk in. Read more: Quarry Park Permits
