Motorcycle Crash

On March 13, 2021 at 12:54 p.m., the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle crash on County Road 10, north of 290th Street in St. Martin Township. A witness said she was traveling south on County Road 10 when a 2014 black Harley Davidson motorcycle appeared behind her at what she believed to be a high rate of speed. The witness said the driver of the motorcycle passed her and continued southbound.  The pass occurred in an S-Curve just north of 290th Street, in a no passing zone. The driver of the motorcycle lost control and hit the unpaved portion of the right ditch. The driver was identified as Michael Anthony Czech, 50, Rice. He was thrown from the motorcycle and was not wearing a helmet. Czech was treated on scene for his injuries and air lifted to St. Cloud Hospital.

St. Martin Fire and Rescue, Melrose Ambulance, and Life Link assisted the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office with this crash.
