 Maple Syrup Demonstrations and Tours at Kraemer Lake-Wildwood County Park:
A unique activity that takes place at the park is the Wildwood Ranch maple syrup operation. A local family that has collected sap from this land for nearly 40 years runs the operation. Sap is collected by a combination of modern vacuum tubing and traditional buckets. The sap is then boiled down and processed on site.
Come learn about the process with free guided tours and demonstrations of the operation during the open house on March 31, 2018, from 1pm to 4pm. Appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear is recommended.
