Coronavirus (COVID-19): update 9 April 2021
On 22 February 2021, the Prime Minister set out the ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown for England. Colleagues in Scotland and Wales will also have heard ongoing COVID-19 updates from their First Ministers.
The Prime Minister has now confirmed that England will move to step 2 on the roadmap out of lockdown from Monday 12 April.
That means from Monday 12 April we will return to normal working hours in our jobcentres across the UK in line with the roadmap (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturdays for those jobcentres that open then).
Also from 12 April interviews under caution and National Insurance number activity will start again.
All other colleagues should continue to work as they are for the time being.
Those returning to the office can be assured that we continue to adhere to all the COVID-19 safety measures.
