The Parks Foundation makes a HUGE impact year after year, but the needs are ever growing and support from our community is necessary for us to keep doing what we’re doing.
In the last year, the 10-member board, led by Chairman Toy Rhea has allocated over $200,000 towards much needed improvements at Manchester Meadows, Glencairn Garden, Miracle League athletes, Lifelong Learning and Rec in a Box programs.
The Parks Foundation has impacted 1,800 acres of green space, helped maintain 8 tourism facilities, 4 recreation centers, 14 regional parks and 20 neighborhood parks.
Our donors are generous year after year, but we need continued community support to ensure our parks, programs and facilities thrive-fostering healthy lifestyles, successful recreational programs and community engagement.
