Many classes for the spring semester are full and have waitlists. Did you register for a class by mistake, and you can no longer attend? Did plans change and you can no longer come to a one-day class?
Please notify staff at least 2-3 days prior to the class if you need to relinquish your seat to someone else. Some classes have many, many individuals on the waitlists who are eager to learn the topic. Your consideration is appreciated in letting someone on the waitlist have your seat.
Needing to miss one day of a multi-week class? No problem. This absence will not relinquish your seat to someone else. Planning to miss 2 or 3 classes of a 4-week course? Consider giving up that seat to someone else who would love to be present for all 4 weeks of the class. As stated in the catalog, you may request a refund for a registration up to seven days prior to the start of a class.
Thank you to our learners who regularly alert staff to your attendance.

The Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill tours began in the Spring 2022 semester. Two multi-week courses invited learners to get out and about in the community to learn about a wide variety of topics. Learners visited the various Culture & Heritage museums for guided tours, and the "Beverage Hop" class took learners to different locations to learn how a variety of beverages are produced right here in York County, including a visit to the Sleeping Giant Distillery (image below). Since then, tours have remained a popular component of each semester!
Parking Map:
Use this map to assist with utilizing the most convenient parking lot for your class.
If you have edited your CivicRec account to allow for text messages, you will receive a text reminder the day before class begins. To confirm your ability to receive these messages, follow these directions. Need help? Email Randy.Odowd@cityofrockhill.com.
Also, you will still receive email reminders 3-5 days before your course begins. These notifications will come from the City of Rock Hill.

Remember your cup:
Hospitality stations are present at most LL@RH classes. To reduce the use of disposable cups, please consider bringing your own mug, cup or refillable water bottle. Thank you!

For assistance, please contact the LL@RH office: 803-329-5527 or Krista.Hayes@cityofrockhill.com.
 1) Staff continues to work with the instructors and the schedule to do our best to accommodate the waitlists.
2) If a seat becomes available to you for a class for which you are on the waitlist, you will receive an email from the City of Rock Hill with the Subject: Waiting List Notification (see first red arrow above).
3) If you still desire to enroll, click the link (Sign Up Here) at the bottom of the email to register (see second red arrow above).
4) If you are on many waitlists and want to avoid multiple waitlist enrollments, please call staff for assistance! (803-329-5527) Unfortunately, the link in the email only allows you to enroll for one waitlisted item at a time. We know this can be a nuisance, and we are here to assist!
5) Do not worry if you miss the 24-hour window. Staff has to manually force the system to move on to the next person on the waitlist. Call the LL@RH office for help (803-329-5527) and to confirm your ability to enroll.
We appreciate your involvement with LL@RH!
