Spring 2024 Course Catalog

Spring Catalog 2024

Catalog Corrections:

022-Very Beginner Yoga
The time for this 4-week course is 9:30 AM. The time is correct on the "At-a-Glance" pages but listed incorrectly with the course description.

The following
Coffee & Conversation was accidentally omitted from the course descriptions. Please be sure to consider “FIFTEEN WAYS TO ELEVATE WELL-BEING” when making your selections for the semester.
045-FIFTEEN WAYS TO ELEVATE WELL-BEING
Ellen Belk, Keep in Mind, Inc.
WEDNESDAY, April 24, 1 PM
Fee: $5; Seats: 22
This will be an information-dense program wherein Ms. Belk shares a variety of ways to effectively impact your well-being within three primary areas: nutrition, living environment and physical engagement. Making even minor tweaks can support overall wellness for those aging bodies that seek holistic (non-pharmacological) solutions. Ms. Belk’s simple suggestions and easy-to-execute ideas will inspire participants to update their routine and infuse (at least some) of her concepts.

New to Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill?

If you plan to register for classes for the first time this spring, please create your online account prior to Wednesday, February 21. Need help with this? Call LL@RH staff at 803-329-5527 or 803-325-2568 for assistance.

Registration

*NEW THIS SEMESTER*

To Make Registering In-Person Even Easier for Everyone:

1) When you arrive at the kickoff event, you will get a number that will claim your "spot" in line for registration. This is a new addition to the process that will allow you to enjoy the full time of the kickoff without having to spend extra time in line. Plus, you can sit comfortably in the provided chairs and wait for your number to be called instead of standing in line!

2) During the Kickoff event (9:30 AM-10:30 AM), staff and volunteers will be available to assist with creating your account if you are a first-time registrant. It is a fantastic time saver to do this prior to registration opening at 10:30 AM!

3) Make your course selections BEFORE your number is called. Out of respect for everyone’s time, you will be asked to move to the back of the line if you aren’t ready to register when it is your turn. Preselect your preferred programs by completing this handy form before your number is called.

4) You can only register for ONE account at a time during in-person registration. Some accounts have all members of a household, which is acceptable. However, if you need to register for a friend on another account, for example, you will need to move to the back of the line after completing the first registration. Guests who show up on time and are waiting in line should not be at a disadvantage due to those who cannot be present.

5) You can still pay with credit card, cash or check (made payable to City of Rock Hill).

6) Chairs will be available for sitting while awaiting your turn to register.

Online Registration:

1) Be sure to practice logging into your account prior to the opening of registration on Feb. 21 at 10:30 AM. If you need assistance logging in, please contact LL@RH staff prior to Feb. 21: 803-329-5527 or 803-325-2568.

2) Before each program title is a three-digit number. When you register online, the numbers are sequential although separated by category. Be sure to note that some categories have multiple pages of entries.

3) Familiarize yourself with the online registration system. If you plan to register on a phone or tablet, note that the images provided in the catalog are for a desktop view only.

4) Did you know you can filter your search? It is useful to utilize this feature if you do not want to search for each program when adding to your cart. In the Filter box on the top left side of the screen (desktop version) or top of the screen (portable device), simply enter the three-digit number and search.
