Fewell Park Art Classes

Paint a 9 1/2" ceramic Christmas tree with metallic acrylic paints and add light bulbs for a beautiful and popular Christmas decoration. All supplies and light kit are included. Register

Greensboro, NC - Civil Rights Museum and Barn Dinner Theatre

$150 ($50 deposit due by September 15)

Travel with us to Greensboro, NC!! We'll start by visiting the International Civil Rights Museum; afterwards we'll enjoy Langston Hughes' "Black Nativity" at the Barn Dinner Theatre. Dinner consists of a soul food buffet. Vegan and vegetarian choices are limited. Trip costs include entry into the International Civil Rights Museum, Barn Dinner Theatre and motorcoach. Details

BMX Carolina Nationals

Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track
1307 Riverwalk Parkway
The City of Rock Hill welcomes a second USA BMX nationals level event in 2023 when the USA BMX Fall Nationals debuts at the Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track. This event provides an additional opportunity for riders to earn key qualifying points at one of the top tracks in the US. Nearly 2,000 riders along with their supporters are expected to attend with many traveling from outside the US. Details

Wreaths

Saturday, December 16 at Noon
Glencairn Garden - 825 Edgmont Ave.

More than 4,000 locations across the country are expected to participate.   At the ceremony in Rock Hill, Mayor John Gettys and Lieutenant General Paul E. Blackwell will speak at Noon.  At 1:30 PM, the placing of the wreaths at the four cemeteries will begin.  By placing a wreath on a Veteran’s headstone, we can accomplish our mission to Remember, Honor, Teach.  More
