Carolina Nationals Brings BMX Action This Weekend
Rock Hill, South Carolina -- The USA BMX Carolina Nationals returns to the Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track Mar. 18-20, 2022. This is the City of Rock Hill’s eighth year hosting this event which promises racing excitement.
Event highlights include Friday races where amateur riders in open class can qualify for the 2022 UCI BMX World Championship held this summer in Nantes, France. You will also see pro men and women battling it out on all three days as they compete for international UCI points that go towards individual and Nation rankings to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, France. Nearly 2,000 riders along with their supporters are expected to attend with many traveling from outside the US.
On Friday, races begin at 2:30 PM; on Saturday, races begin at 9 AM; and on Sunday, races begin at 8 AM. Gates will open earlier for practice; food trucks and concession stands will be open. Races are free to watch; parking is $10 for the day.
