The OWLS Club, sponsored by the City of Rock Hill Parks, Recreation & Tourism Department, consists of adults over the age of 50 in Rock Hill and surrounding areas. The purpose of the group is to provide quality programs and activities through social gatherings, sports, games, and daytime/overnight trips to all seniors. There is no fee to join the group, simply call or email and express your interest. We look forward to seeing you at our next function!

For the months of January, February and March 2020, the monthly OWLS Club meetings will take place in Council Chambers at City Hall (155 Johnston St) at 1:00 PM. The dates for the next three meetings are:

Beginning in April 2020, our meetings will resume at Manchester Meadows at 1 PM on the first Thursday of the month!

Senior Health Fair

Save the date and plan on attending our annual Senior Health Fair. This year, the event is located at the Rock Hill Sports & Events Center (326 Technology Center Way). The facility is next door to the new White Horse restaurant. Parking is available at Parking Deck A located off of White Street.
This event is FREE to the public and FREE for vendors! Door prizes will be given away toward the end of the event. You do NOT have to be present to win!
Gather resources and information on health & wellness, recreation, Lifelong Learning, independent & assisted living facilities, benefits for seniors, and more!

Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill

Registration is happening now for the inaugural semester of Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill!
Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill is a continuing education program of excellence and diversity for all adults to learn, develop new interests, and explore ideas in an ever-increasing circle of friends within Rock Hill and the greater community. Members of Lifelong Learning @ Rock Hill may participate in a variety of two to eight-week, interactive courses and one-time workshops, lectures or events. Courses cover a wide range of topics, including history, religion, science, cooking, literature, writing, pop culture, physical fitness and current events.
A yearly membership is $50 per person allows members to register for courses and events, as well as receive semester mailings. Courses are offered at a nominal fee depending on the length of course and materials needed. Some need-based scholarships are available.

This month, try something new and join the OWLS for shuffleboard at Boyd Hill on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM! Did you know there are two courts built into the floor? This is the only time you get to throw grits on the ground and not feel bad about it! We use grits to help the pucks to slide along the ground. You don't need to bring anything or register, just show up, make some new friends and have a lot of fun!

Biltmore & Downton Abbey
