Bringing community residents and Town leaders together is a great way to learn, listen, and collaborate as we share ideas. In the coming weeks, we have two events planned where we’ll connect with residents in the Jonesville and Muddy Creek/Bryant Road neighborhoods. We're inviting those who live in these areas to join us and learn about the Town's initiatives to enhance their communities. Residents will have the opportunity to meet Town staff from Planning, Engineering, Fire Rescue, Public Safety, Administration, and the Gullah Geechee Community Development Corporation. We’re eager to hear your thoughts and answer any questions you have. We look forward to seeing you there! Details are below.

We had an amazing turnout at our recent "Money Talks" seminar. It was a fantastic opportunity for small businesses to meet with TD Bank experts and learn about day-to-day business operations. They shared information about resource allocation, task management, and informational technology. Sponsored by the Gullah Geechee Historic Neighborhoods Community Development Corporation and TD Bank, the business workshops are aimed at providing valuable insights and practical advice.
We invite business owners to attend the remaining sessions or only the ones that apply to their unique situation. There is no charge to attend. Up next in the series is a seminar on unlocking your access to capital. It will be held on Wednesday, September 25, at 5 p.m. at the Island Recreation Center, 20 Wilborn Road. For more information, call (843) 341-3097.
