The Town of Hilton Head Island is pleased to present its first-ever Annual Report highlighting its significant accomplishments for calendar year 2023. This comprehesive annual report overviews milestones from finance and capital improvements to growth management and policy. It also breaks down Town financials, key performance indicators by which we measure our success, and the priorities outlined in the Town’s 2023-2025 Strategic Action Plan.

Adriana Burnett brings over 30 years of financial management experience with major companies, including the Walmart Corporation. In her new role as Finance Director, she's responsible for planning, managing, and directing the Town’s financial operations

John McGowan brings 30 years of experience in the public financial sector, including leadership roles with Moody’s Investors Service and Standard & Poor's Ratings. As Assistant Finance Director, he will develop financial strategies for special initiatives.

Work on a new pathway on Shelter Cove Lane has been completed. The project consisted of:
- construction of a 10-foot-wide, 900-foot-long asphalt pathway.
- installation of pathway lighting, signage, and crosswalk markings.
- landscape improvements.
The pathway is now open for public use.

We're looking for committed Hilton Head Island residents to join our Town's boards and committees! We have openings on several of them including the Accommodations Tax Advisory Committee, Board of Zoning Appeals, Design Review Board, Parks & Recreation Commission, and Planning Commission. If you're passionate about community service, consider getting involved in shaping our Town's future.

One of the biggest weeks on Hilton Head Island is the annual RBC Heritage presented by Boeing. We are looking forward to seeing visitors, golfers, volunteers, vendors and more at Harbour Town in Sea Pines from April 15 - 21. And, we're excited to share reminiscences of the great times had at previous tournaments from Mayor Alan Perry, Town Manager Marc Orlando and Town Administration Manager Faidra Smith.
