The Town of Hilton Head Island will conduct landscape enhancements on the median approaches of Pope Avenue, Palmetto Bay Road, and William Hilton Parkway at Sea Pines Circle. Work will occur in the evenings starting on Monday, April 1 through Friday, April 5. To minimize disruption to traffic flow, lane closures will be in effect from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
During this time, the outside lanes on the approaches leading to Sea Pines Circle will be temporarily closed. Enhancements will involve site preparation, plant installation, and debris cleanup within designated work areas. The improvements will lead to greater safety, visual consistency and overall beautification within the town's medians

We’re hosting an informational drop-in for small and minority-owned businesses to facilitate connections between them and access to community business resources. It takes place on Thursday, April 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Island Rec Center. Town staff:
- Will offer insights into the Town’s bidding and procurement procedures.
- Guide participants through the vendor registration process.
- Answer questions about the Town’s Small and Minority-owned Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Utilization Program.
Representatives from various organizations will be on hand to share details about their services and resources.

Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue is pleased to present its 2023 Annual Report, a comprehesive overview of the department’s accomplishments, operations, and initiatives. Last year, our amazing Fire Rescue team promptly responded to 9,560 calls for service, showcasing their commitment to our community’s safety and welfare. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the outstanding men and women of Fire Rescue for their tireless devotion and service!

Planning for the future is the goal of the Town of Hilton Head Island’s 2023-2025 Strategic Action Plan, which the Town Council officially adopted last summer. Recently, during our annual strategic planning workshop, Town Manager Marc Orlando provided an overview of the progress made on the 15 priorities outlined in the plan, as well as additional projects.
