Our aim is to bring you updates on all we're doing to enhance our community. Stay tuned for regular reports and features on Town projects, intriguing individuals, and Island locales. Your feedback is important as we enhance our communication with you. Send us your comments about "Town News" and topics you'd like to read about to communications@hiltonheadislandsc.gov.

Main Street: Preparing for Hometown Charm
Every American hometown boasts a Main Street, and Hilton Head Island's, now owned by the Town, is set to radiate charm. The Town has taken over ownership from the Main Street Commercial Property Owners' Association and has initiated repairs along this bustling roadway and adjacent side streets.

Small businesses and enterprises owned by women and minorities, known as "disadvantaged businesses," help enhance the community's economic prosperity and overall well-being. That's why we're committed to leveling the playing field. We've taken deliberate steps to ensure they have the opportunity to participate in the Town's procurement process for goods and services. Our dedicated program is designed to encourage their full and active involvement. |

The Town of Hilton Head Island, in partnership with CivicPlus, has introduced an advanced agenda and meeting management solution to enhance functionality, efficiency, and transparency in Town public meetings.
As part of this transition, a new integrated notification system for posting meeting agendas has been implemented. As of January 1, 2024, we have moved away from the agenda e-subscription service previously used to notify the public about meetings and their related agendas. To ensure that you continue receiving notifications for meeting agendas, we encourage you to sign up on our website today at hiltonheadislandsc.gov.
We're excited about the improvements we are making to streamline our meeting management process and the additional features the new solution offers. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly Gammon, Town Clerk, at KimberlyG@hiltonheadislandsc.gov or 843-341-4701.
