Park Projects Update
Chaplin Community Park, Crossings Park, and Mid-Island Projects
Our design teams are reviewing stakeholder input and working closely with staff to develop initial concept plans for each park.
There will be opportunities for Town Officials and the public to review and weigh in on the plans in coming months. Announcements will be made via the Town's social media, press releases and this newsletter about up-coming meetings, workshops, and events related to these projects.
Beach Parks
Check out the presentation provided by staff at a recent Town Council meeting regarding beach master planning with a facility update. This includes specific consideration for future improvements in operations, maintenance, capital improvements and policy for Islander's Beach Park. The future overlook pavilion at this park is still in progress and anticipated to start construction before the end of this calendar year.
