Dorchester County Opens New TRACK Trails at Rosebrock and Davis-Bailey Parks for Kids and Families
Dorchester County is excited to announce the opening of new Kids in Parks TRACK Trails at both Rosebrock Park (501 Beech Hill Rd., Summerville) and Davis-Bailey Park (5190 E. Jim Bilton Blvd., St. George). These self-guided trails are designed to transform a simple walk in nature into an interactive, adventure-packed journey for children and their families.
At each park, visitors will find a Kids in Parks TRACK Trail kiosk featuring a variety of activity brochures. These brochures guide participants through fun and educational activities, such as identifying Types of Trees like oak, maple, and pine along the trail, or spotting local bird species with the Birds of the Woods and Wetlands brochure. Each activity encourages children to learn about the natural world around them while enjoying the outdoors.
Kids who participate in the program can register their TRACK Trail adventures online at KidsInParks.com, where they will earn a series of prizes to enhance their future outdoor adventures. The TRACK Trails program has already inspired over one million children to complete adventures, making the outdoors more fun and meaningful for families across the country.
Dorchester County invites families to come and experience these new TRACK Trails, explore the beauty of Rosebrock and Davis-Bailey Parks, and spark a lifelong love for the outdoors in children.
