Dorchester County Announces Storm Debris Pickup for Specific Neighborhoods
Dorchester County will conduct a vegetation-only storm debris pickup on Tuesday, June 18, in the following neighborhoods:
- Quail Arbor 5
- Quail Arbor
- Irongate
- Briarwood
- Community Road
- Greenhurst
Storm Debris Collection Guidelines
To ensure efficient and safe pickup of storm yard debris, residents are asked to follow these guidelines:
Separate Piles:

Vegetative Debris: Branches, leaves, and logs should be separated into distinct piles.
Proper Placement:
- Place debris at the curb, not in the street.
- Keep piles away from fire hydrants, utility poles, and mailboxes.
- Do not block driveways or sidewalks.
Stacking Guidelines:
- Place debris in neat piles.
- Avoid using plastic bags for debris.
