Absentee Voting for June 9 Primary Election Underway in Dorchester County
Beginning now – Monday, June 8 residents can vote in-person absentee at the Dorchester County Clemson Extension Office located at 201 Johnston Street in St. George. Absentee voting will only be available at this location between the hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Note: Although the physical address is 201 Johnston Street, the office fronts May St.

Vote In-Person Absentee in Summerville
Residents can vote In-Person Absentee at the Rollins Edwards Community Center located at 301 N. Hickory St. in Summerville, between the hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning Monday, June 1 - Friday, June 5.
Vote In-Person Absentee in North Charleston
Residents can vote In-Person Absentee at the Wescott Park Community Center located at 9006 Dorchester Road in North Charleston, between the hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning Monday, June 1 - Friday, June 5.

Voters that wish to vote absentee by mail may request an absentee application:

The deadline to return the application for a by-mail ballot is 2:00 PM on Friday, June 5. However, voters are advised to request by-mail ballots as soon as possible as there is no guarantee that a ballot mailed on June 5 will be received by the voter and returned to the Election Commission by election day.
All ballots must be received by the Election Commission no later than 7:00 PM on Election Day.
