Join SCORE and Charleston Waterkeeper sorting trash and recycling from oyster shell! March 3, 2021 1PM- 3PM

We are back and we're looking for some volunteers to help us as we team DNR's SCORE Program with Charleston Waterkeeper on Wednesday, March 3 to sort debris and recyclables from recycled oyster shell. All supplies will be provided including gloves, grabbers, water, bug spray, hand sanitizer and sunscreen. Please bring your reusable water bottle and come dressed to get dirty in long pants and in closed-toed shoes. All ages are welcome to participate!

MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL VOLUNTEERS FOR THE DURATION OF THIS EVENT! We will be practicing social distancing in accordance with CDC and DHEC guidelines.

We will be escorting volunteers from the parking lot at the corner of Turnbull and Noisette Ave (near Riverfront Park) to our shell storage facility, so space is limited and you must RSVP to secure your spot! Please email us at score@dnr.sc.gov if you are interested in joining the fun!
