County Holiday Closing Schedule

All Beaufort County offices will be closed on Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Normal operations will resume Monday, November 28.

All Beaufort County Convenience Centers will be closed on Thursday, November 24, and will resume normal operating schedules on Friday, November 25. Residents are encouraged to check their local center’s hours by visiting bcgov.net/recycle. 

All Beaufort County Libraries will close early on Wednesday, November 23 at 5 p.m. and will reopen and resume normal operating schedules on Saturday, November 26. Residents are encouraged to visit the Beaufort County Library website for more information on specific branch schedules.

All Beaufort County Parks and Leisure Services facilities will be closed November 24-26 and will resume normal operating schedules on Monday, November 28.

The Bluffton Indoor Pool will be closed Saturday, December 3 in observance of the Bluffton Christmas Parade.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, disaster debris removal operations will temporarily discontinue from Wednesday, November 23 through Friday, November 25, in the City of Beaufort, the Town of Port Royal, the Town of Bluffton and unincorporated Beaufort County, including Daufuskie Island. Disaster debris removal operations will resume on Saturday, November 26.
