MIGHTY ARTHROPODS FOR KIDS

Learn what characteristics arthropods share. Explore how spiders, pillbugs, centipedes, ladybugs and aphids live and grow. Afterwards, head to the gym for fun activities!

For ages 6-10. Registration is required, space is limited. Parents are encouraged to attend the Edibles in the Landscape class (below) taking place at the same time and location.

Stop & Swap

Your trash may be someone’s treasure. Bring your reusable, unwanted items to the Stop & Swap next Saturday and share them with your neighbors. This free one-day event is hosted by the City of Renton Solid Waste Utility in an effort to divert quality goods from the landfill and make them available to neighbors and non-profits for reuse. You are invited to shop even if you don’t have items to contribute. Also, we are looking for volunteers so please consider helping out at this great event!
