City of Pittsburgh Announces Fourth of July Holiday Closures and Service Adjustments
Pittsburgh, PA – In observance of Independence Day, all City of Pittsburgh offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025. Normal operations will resume on Monday, July 7, 2025.
Refuse and Bulk Waste Collection Delayed One Day
Refuse, recycling, and bulk waste collection services normally scheduled for Friday, July 4 will be delayed by one day. Residents with scheduled Friday collections should place their materials out for pickup on Saturday, July 5, 2025.

1PM – 5:45PM: Open Swim Note: Schenley Park Pool will not offer Adult Lap Swim due to capacity limits.
