New Sewers or sewer lining to increase wastewater service reliability by reducing clogs and backups

Possible Lead Service Line (LSL) Replacement: Homes with confirmed lead services lines are eligible for free replacements. (This work only happens on blocks receiving new water mains, view project map.)
Free Lead Service Line Replacement During Planned Water Main Work
The water service line is a pipe that carries water from one of our water mains into your home. In Philadelphia, residential service lines are the responsibility of the property owners.
This pipe is your property. However, if we discover your pipe is made of lead (or galvanized metal), we’ll offer to replace the entire line, free of charge.
To provide this free service, we’ll need the property owner’s permission to access the property
