The Philadelphia Water, Sewer, and Storm Water Rate Board will hold public hearings for the 2025 General Rate Proceeding this month. The hearings will address water rate increases proposed for 2025 and 2026.
The public hearings include two in-person and two virtual events on the following dates and times:

The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) filed Formal Notice on March 31, 2025, proposing to raise and otherwise modify rates on September 1, 2025, and again on September 1, 2026. In this proceeding, the Rate Board will determine the appropriate rates and charges.
