Stormwater Incentives: Summer Update #2
A few weeks ago, we sent out updates regarding new websites, our next Stormwater Grant deadline (Oct 15th, 2021), and pre-application start date (July 15th, 2021). We have a second round of updates that help clarify how to apply for this year's grant funding:
- The Stormwater Grant Application Guide has been revised for the new grant round. It now includes newly revised Rubric Criteria (pgs. 20-21) used during grant application review to decide grant awards.
- Instructions to request a pre-application meeting are here. This page is also linked on the Stormwater Grants website under "Request a pre-application meeting." If the applicant already has an account, they can sign in at the top of the page where it says "Login Here to Apply" to go to their Dashboard. If the applicant does not have an account, they must create one using the "create account" link in 'Login Here to Apply".
- After clicking "start a pre-app", click "continue" and proceed to the Private Development Services Pre-Application Meeting Request Form. Use the Reg Finder to outline your project and select "Stormwater Retrofit" for development type. After proceeding to Step 2, complete the applicant information and select Stormwater Grant to be discussed at the meeting. Contact the Stormwater Incentives Team at pwdstormwatercredits@phila.gov with any questions.
- Project teams must request three possible dates and times at least one week in advance. They also must upload a concept plan with their request, but can upload any other application exhibits they would like reviewed. This may include budget, schedule, or forms. Pre-application meetings are required for each application at least two weeks before the October 15th deadline (October 1st). This requires pre-application requests to be submitted by September 24th.
- Stormwater Grant applications can be submitted on the Stormwater Grants website by clicking "Submit an application" starting August 1st. This submission interface has changed from previous years. Application forms are now web-based and application exhibits must be submitted as separate PDFs.
- We have uploaded the Pre-Application Checklist (titled "Get ready to apply") and the Common Mistakes Checklist on our website. Please use these while completing a Stormwater Grant application.
