 You are invited to take part in the third annual Philadelphia Water Department customer survey!
Conducted in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania, the survey helps us collect feedback on a range of services we provide and takes less than five minutes. Any customer over 18 is eligible and participants will automatically enter a raffle to win one of many $100 gift cards.
We will ask you about:
- General
perceptions of PWD
- Drinking water habits
- Bill paying satisfaction
- Service
evaluation
- Awareness of notification methods and preferences
- Construction
site satisfaction
- Customer assistance program evaluation and satisfaction
We use this feedback to prioritize and improve services and
customer interactions across the board. Nearly 4,000 residents provided
feedback through the customer satisfaction surveys in 2016 and 2017.
Answers and
personal information will be kept completely confidential. The University of
Pennsylvania will analyze the data and prepare a report for PWD.
 We recently requested a rate increase that would be phased in over three years. As part of a rate-setting process that puts a priority on transparency, we are holding official public input hearings across the city. Customer testimony at these hearings becomes part of the public record.
We encourage customers to learn more about why the rate change is needed and provide input by attending a hearing.
