Lower Merion Police Lieutenant Graduates FBI National Academy
Congratulations to Lieutenant Edward Sarama on his graduation from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, on December 11, 2025. This prestigious program is hosted at the same elite facility where the FBI trains its special agents and intelligence analysts. The 296th session of the National Academy consisted of men and women from 47 states and the District of Columbia. The class also included members of law enforcement agencies from 24 countries, four military organizations, and two federal civilian organizations.
Selection for the National Academy is highly competitive. The 11-week curriculum provides advanced training in leadership, communication, and fitness to law enforcement professionals with distinguished records of service.
“The Lower Merion Police Department is proud to have had Lieutenant Sarama represent us at the National Academy,” said Superintendent Andy Block. “He has consistently served our township with integrity, professionalism and respect. The advanced leadership skills he has acquired will benefit Lower Merion Township for years to come.”
