Bryn Mawr Fence Restoration
Some exciting news in Bryn Mawr! The Township of Lower Merion just completed a fascinating project in the lot 7 parking lot, located in front of the Bryn Mawr train station at Lancaster and Morris Aves. The historic wrought iron fencing, which dates back to the late 1800s/early 1900s and surrounds about three-quarters of the lot, was completely restored. This project was undertaken with the generous support of a $255,000 grant from the William B. Dietrich Foundation. The pictures below, don't do it justice, stop by to take a peek at how this wonderful restoration has improved the space.

 Measles Vaccination:
A message from the Lower Merion Township Health Advisory Council
Measles cases in the United States have been on the rise in 2025. Measles is extremely contagious and can lead to very serious health problems including pneumonia, brain swelling, and even death. Most Lower Merion Township residents have already been vaccinated, but for those who haven’t, you can get the vaccine at your doctor’s office, a local health clinic, or pharmacy. If you are a resident who is uninsured or underinsured, call one of Montgomery County’s health clinics closest to you (Norristown 610.278.5145, Pottstown 610.970.5040) to get a free vaccine.
If you’re not sure if you’ve been vaccinated or previously had measles, please contact your doctor to discuss getting a blood test to check for immunity.
