Lower Merion Township's temporary burn ban is still in effect through Monday April 14, 2025. This burn ban prohibits open fires, including recreational fire pits and fireworks within Lower Merion Township.
All recreational fire permits are revoked during the burn ban.

 Applications are now open for all K-12 students in Montco for the fourth annual Art and Poetry Freedom Contest!
The theme for this year’s contest is "Hope in Action." All students in Montgomery County public, private, parochial, or home schools are invited to submit their own unique works of art and poetry speaking to that theme.
