A refuse and recycling holiday collection schedule will be in effect for May 27th-31st, due to the Memorial Day holiday.
There will be no refuse or recycling collection on Monday, May 29th.

- Lower Merion’s sewer rate of $4.51 per 1,000 gallons of water consumption has not been increased since 2012
- The sewer rate is the lowest among area municipalities that bill sewer based on water consumption
- The sewer bill is a utility and is NOT paid by your mortgage company
- Pay within the first 60 days to receive a 2% discount

2024 MOSQUITO SEASON FROM

Residents are advised to sign up for ReadyMontco alerts to be notified of mosquito spraying in their area.
Mosquito-borne disease can spread to animals and people through the bite of an infected mosquito. The most common mosquito-borne disease in Montgomery County is West Nile Virus (WNV), usually transmitted between infected birds and mosquitoes. Zika virus is another emerging mosquito-borne illness.
Residents who want to receive 48-hour advanced notifications from the Office of Public Health directly to their phone or email can create a ReadyMontco account at http://readymontco.org. The ReadyMontco notification system delivers alerts about severe weather and other important events, including mosquito sprays in Montgomery County. Be sure to select the jurisdiction of residence or others of interest for targeted notifications.

 Lower Merion School District has opened new student registration for all grades for the 2024-2025 school year. To register a student, you must be a resident of Lower Merion Township or Narberth Borough. For more information, including necessary forms and documents, please visit: www.lmsd.org/register. Students who are currently enrolled do NOT have to re-enroll for next year.
