2023 Budget Season
It's that time of the year again! September 7th is the kickoff to the Lower Merion Budget Season and will start with the Annual Budget Workshop. This workshop is where our Senior Staff present their Departmental Budget to the Board of Commissioners. The public is welcomed to attend both in person and online. This and all meetings are livestreamed via Facebook, Youtube and our Viebit Streaming Service, in addition to Ch 7 (Comcast) and Ch 38 (Verizon).

A community survey regarding public opinion on sustainability matters will be posted here in September, along with periodic updates about the sustainability planning process.

CYNWYD HERITAGE TRAIL
PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
The Friends of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail is pleased to announce a photography contest for the 18 years and under set. The theme of the photography contest is “contrasts,” and photographs should be taken on the trail. There are three age categories and prizes will be awarded at the Annual Meeting of the Friends of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail in November, 2022. The deadline for submissions is October 16, 2022. There is no entry fee.

PA Homeowner Assistance Fund
If you are a Lower Merion Township homeowner that has faced financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you may be eligible for financial assistance through the Pennsylvania Homeowner Assistance Fund (PAHAF).
The Knox Box Ordinance and Compliance Deadline
is Fast Approaching!
In accordance with the November 18, 2020 Ordinance 4201, the installation of the KnoxBox secure key box system is required on all of the following occupancy types:
- All commercial, institutional, industrial, and municipal buildings, with or without a residential component.
- On such structures that are secured in a manner that restricts access during an emergency.
- On all multi-family dwellings having four or more units.
The timeframe to become compliant with this requirement will end on December 31, 2022.
