With the 2024-25 license year and antlerless license sales kicking off in just over a month, make sure you’re prepared to take advantage of all the opportunities available by running through this checklist.
Important dates for the first round of antlerless license sales:

Monday, June 24: Resident antlerless licenses for WMUs 1B, 2G, and 3A only go on sale on a first come, first served basis.

Thursday, June 27: Resident antlerless licenses for all remaining WMUs go on sale and are GUARANTEED for 11 days through July 7.

Monday, June 8: Unsold antlerless licenses are available to nonresidents on a first come, first served basis.

Applications for all three seasons (archery, general, and late) are available through Sunday, July 14. Drawings will be held on Saturday, July 27 at the Keystone Elk Country Alliance's Elk Expo in Benezette.

The Game Commission is partnering with Raised At Full Draw to offer youth bowhunting camps at three locations throughout Pennsylvania this summer.
Designed for archers of any skill level from beginner to expert aged 11-17, the hands-on camps will teach shot placement, tree stand safety, hunting tactics, and more. Campers will also have the opportunity to complete the Hunter-Trapper Education course.
Scholarships are available for a limited number of students from Clearfield, Centre, and Dauphin Counties.
