The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) and Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) Launch HuntFishPA
We've Created A New Licensing System To Better Serve Our Customers
Beginning today, visitors to www.HuntFish.pa.gov will discover convenient features like personalized dashboards, autorenewal for fishing licenses, and the ability to report game and furbearer harvests as required. Users who visit the agencies’ websites – www.pgc.pa.gov and www.fishandboat.com – for their licensing and other needs will be seamlessly directed to the new system. HuntFishPA replaces the previous Pennsylvania Automatic Licensing System (PALS) platform known as The Outdoor Shop.
HuntFishPA provides outdoor enthusiasts with a modern and streamlined platform to purchase hunting and fishing licenses, launch permits, boat registration renewals, lotteries, draws, and permits – on any device, at any time. The platform also offers Harvest Reporting, 24/7 call center support, and a seamless transition for license holders who previously used the PALS system. Prior users will simply need to log in as they’ve done in the past with existing credentials. All profile, license, and past purchase information has been transferred to HuntFishPA. New users can easily create a username and password for added security. See the full news release here.

Check Out Our Latest Call of the Outdoors Podcast Episode
We’re beginning the new year with a meaningful nod to the past. For 125 years, the Pennsylvania Game Commission has officially managed the state’s wildlife resources and our state has always been a national leader when it comes to wildlife conservation efforts here in Penn’s Woods. In this episode, Game Commission Marketing Director Matt Morrett welcomes the Bureau of Wildlife Protection’s Chad Eyler, as he shares about Pennsylvania’s earliest conservation efforts and how the realities of the 1800’s – dwindling wildlife, deforestation, pollution and unregulated hunting and trapping – led to the creation of the Game Commission. Chad shares his story about how his long-time passion for the outdoors – as an Eagle Scout, thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail, serving as a DCNR Park Ranger and much more – led him to become a Pennsylvania State Game Warden and serve wildlife and the public for more than 20 years. Listen here.

The Deadline Is Approaching To Report Your Harvest
It’s not too late to report your harvest! Remember, it’s legally your responsibility as a Pennsylvania hunter to report your big game harvests within 10 days. By reporting your harvest, you're providing information that will aid in our biologist's decision-making process and tag allocations for not only next year, but for years to come. You can report your harvest by phone, send via mail, or online at HuntFish.pa.gov.
Don’t forget, all DMAP antlerless deer permit holders are required to file a harvest report, regardless of whether they kill a deer. Hunters can report their DMAP harvest by phone at 1-800-838-4431 or online at HuntFish.pa.gov.
*Thank you for being a Pennsylvania hunter, conservationist and voice for the future of hunting in Pennsylvania!
