Purpose

These grants support voluntary efforts by Oregonians to protect and restore healthy watersheds–including actions supporting the Oregon Plan for Salmon and Watersheds and the Oregon State Wildlife Action Plan.
Open Solicitation grant funds are available for restoration projects that will protect or restore fish and wildlife habitat and/or watershed functions to improve water quality and/or stream flow. Grant funds may also be used for resource assessment, planning, design, and engineering technical assistance, monitoring, and engagement activities necessary for carrying out projects to protect or restore fish and wildlife habitat and/or natural watershed functions to improve water quality and/or stream flow.
Funding is from Oregon Lottery revenue, federal Pacific Coastal Salmon Recovery Funds through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and revenue from the sale of Salmon License Plates.
