The Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board is pleased to announce a Partnership Technical Assistance (formerly Development Focused Investment Partnership) grant offering.

Partnership Technical Assistance grants support existing partnerships to: 1) generate a new strategic action plan or enhance an existing plan, 2) elevate the partnership’s current level of performance, and 3) support partnership capacity. Projects do not have to address an OWEB board-identified Focused Investment priority.

OWEB recognizes that partnerships sit on a continuum that ranges from more independent and loosely linked to more collaborative and integrated. Each type of partnership can serve a valuable purpose. For Partnership Technical Assistance grants, funding is available to partnerships desiring to become more collaborative and also to those already operating collaboratively and implementing a strategic action plan.

OWEB staff anticipate two grant offerings this biennium with $500,000 being available for each offering. The maximum request per application is $150,000. Information on the first offering is below. The second offering will be announced in Summer 2020.

Because this is a new approach for this grant offering, an informational webinar will be available Monday, August 5, 11am-1pm. Please dial in to the webinar at 541-465-2805 and use PIN 625034. Potential applicants are strongly encouraged to participate to gain a better understanding of the offering before applying.

Any partnership interested in submitting a grant application must participate in a pre-application consultation with OWEB staff. Consultations will occur July 22 – September 16, 2019 and can be scheduled by contacting Kristi Primley (503-986-0202).

Applications must be submitted via OWEB’s Online Grant Application system. The deadline is 5pm, October 14, 2019. Late applications will not be accepted.
